Im considering buying a sheepskin to increase the seat comfort, any thoughts? Pros vs cons

What if anything should I be aware of?

There are many sources for sheep skins. I like Alaska Leather and have bought a few from them over the years. My opinion...... If you can ride 100 miles comfortably before taking a butt break in your current seat, then you will be able to do 150 with the added comfort a sheepskin brings. It does add warmth in the cold and keeps the seat cool in the hot summer sun. I have had Air Hawk cushions which I used along with a sheepskin but find just the sheepskin is all I really need for comfort..... Jim

+1 for Alaska leather . be advied two days to dry if you get caught in rain but my butt thanks me every ride.

I was all ready to pull the trigger on a sheepskin cover because about 100 miles was all I could get out of my rear. Then I started tossing my billfold in the tour pack instead of sitting on it and my rear can last 2 hours or more now!
