Maybe this has been talked about before on here but this is my take on it .
IF you have custom Wheels on your HD Trike what kind did you go with . ?
Also what did you do with your old ones.
Thanks for your response ......................Rick

Wife went with the Harley chrome wheels on hers years ago (65 thou miles now) NO
issues-original rims still boxed up in garage.
Thanks Pete:
I never kept a bike long enough or let it sit still long enough to do it.
Now at my age life is a little slower an I might just do what your wife did.
Our daughter lives outside of L.A. so the shop I'm thinking about is an Exchange and its pretty close to our way to her house.
SO I just might take these wheels off and tires.
Clean up the rims for that and take with me an pick up the New Chrome ones .
That next trip should be around Christmas Time lol .

Interesting response Rick.......just some further info:
If your refering to WillyShiney exchane in Cucamonga I have heard good things about
them for years. I almost tried them for MY trike & even spoke to them via phone,
seemed very fair to deal with-but im still running my stock Harley rims.
Add. note-we bought our trikes in 2010 (new) and my current mi is 104,449.
My DOB 6-13-1944

HEY Pete .
I guess were closer in age then most lol.
Yeah about the wheels I too think its a good idea.
It will have to wait till after the Holidays to do anything.
Too much going on right now to worry about that.
I thought about calling them also an asked if i could pick them up in person and save the shipping cost.
It would be right on the way to see our daughter in SIMI Valley, Calif.
That's a LOT of Miles you have on that Bike
Willy Shiny exchanged my wheels for me. I'm really happy with them. Stock tires swapped right over. Look great to me.
WillyShinny is sending my new wheels, front forks, and calipers to my buddy's house in Kentucky around June 16th. I have an appointment set up with Four Rivers Harley and they will swap my stuff out, box up the cores, and ship them back to WillyShinny for me. If everything works out I'll spend a couple days riding around the Paducah area then head back north where our RV is set up currently.
In the past year I have had two friends use him for wheels and they are thrilled with the quality and service.
Current: 2019 Trike (custom 130ci T-Man kit with Darkhorse bottom end)
I have never heard anything negative about the quality of Willy Shiny's work. My last buddy to use him claims that he sends all of the parts to Mexico to get the chrome done and he actually doesn't do any of the work himself. If that is true I don't care because he must have found about the best chrome shop in Mexico.
Current: 2019 Trike (custom 130ci T-Man kit with Darkhorse bottom end)
Very little Chrome work is done in California now because of all of the environmental regulations dealing with the chemicals involved. Almost all of it is shipped to Mexico. Ever see a 53 foot flat bed trailer loaded with automotive wheels stacked 12 foot high going down the freeway. How many wheels cay you get on a trailer? You see steel and aluminum wheels going south and nice shiny chrome plated wheels going north.

Just bought a rechromed front wheel to match the rear ones, wheel and polished rotors from rrcyclechromeplating in CA, they had great reviews and the wheel looked excellent.
2012 Ultra Limited with RoadSmith trike conversion
Willy Shinny sent the two boxes containing wheels, rotors, calipers, and front forks as promised. I didn't realize it but the OEM top fork sleeve on a Trike is actually not chrome but polished stainless. The dealer (Paducah, Four Rivers) had new chrome sleeves in stock so he replaced that also.
Anyway, all installed and cores sent back to Willy Shinny. I couldn't be happier with the quality and results.
Current: 2019 Trike (custom 130ci T-Man kit with Darkhorse bottom end)
I'm contacting Willy Shinny right now to see if I ride up there if they will do the install on the wheels. Appears to be the best price around.
Well, that didn't work out to good, never heard back.
