06 Harley Ultra Classic True duals underneath with side boards, would they fit ?

Hell Forums, just wondering if anybody have a belt driven Lemans trike with floor boards

with true duals going underneath instead of the other type that goes over to the left side ?

I would prefer the change it to put the extra heat at the bottom, my wife's left leg gets too hot.

Rico, Welcome to Trike Talk from West Virginia.:wave4:

The back cylinder head pipe usually sweeps out the left side on a tru-dual exhaust.

You could probably take a set of Long Shots and make a system that looks similar to the 2009 and later.

If you have HOG EFX boards, you may have clearance issues at the rear.

A competent motorcycle shop should be able to help you and it would probably be a good winter project too.

Welcome to Trike Talk

Here is what the left side of a Harley bagger with true duals looks like

Keep in mind these systems are not cheap, good luck in your search

Thank You members your ideas and comments are all very much welcome,

For the rear cylinder we have one like in the last picture, but I was wondering if

the other type of head pipes true duals where the front head pipe go across the

the bottom to the passenger side would work ?

our Trike has the leman’s floor boards installed.

Thank You

It could be done by any good exhaust shop ( provided they have a good welder) but, that is not the definition of true duals to a purest;)

I looked at the S & S true duals with individual head pipes,

but they are a bit expensive at the moment, around $450.00

on eBay and I don’t have the funds right now.
