I would like some opinions on replacement headlights. I’ve been looking at the Eagle Gen 2 black with halo (yeah, I like bling). Anyone using these? I want good “bang for the buck” and the lifetime guarantee makes them tempting. Thanks

When I was trying to find a good LED Headlight this Vision X one kept coming up. I haven't bought one yet but am thinking this is the one I'll get.
Ciro is currently having a 10% off sale with code BLACKFRIDAY2020 The $419 headlight is then $377.10
Thanks Don, but dang, that’s still pretty pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. I’m still undecided. I definitely don’t want a cheap knockoff but maybe not “top shelf” either.
Roy, have you checked out DK Customs headlights, they're a sponsor here on the forum.

Yeah, thanks Gary, I've got nothing but praise for DK Custom. I'm using their shocks, catch can and TTIs. I'm just hesitant to use LED bulbs in a lens designed for halogen (that's just me). Also, the halo kind of adds a cool factor.
Thanks for sharing all the ideas guys. I ended up going with my original pick. I guess I just wanted to know if anyone had a bad experience or complaint with the Eagle Light. They are also discounting them now so I pulled the trigger. After installation and some ride time, I'll check back in and share my thoughts on it. Be safe everyone.
Well, I got the new headlight installed and adjusted. It provides a good, wide, low beam with no dark spots and a distinct cut off at the top. Low beam stays on with high beam and the halo shuts off. I believe the halo adds to my being more visible in daylight. LED headlights range from around $50 to nearly 5x that price. I feel that the Eagle Gen 2 is a great improvement for a mid priced unit. I'm sure there are better lights out there, but I got a really bright light with lifetime warranty for a fair price. The only negative review I came across, was that someone had poor FM reception with this light.
Be safe, everyone.
PopsHD here from the TriGlide forum. Glad you were able to decide on an LED headlight. There are a lot of options out there and at very different price points. It's all about finding our own personal "sweet spot" of function and price. I agree with you about the halo adding more visibility during the day. I have the Hogworkz LED Halo and Halo auxiliaries on my TG and have had remarks on how well they can see me during the day.

Dealer had sent me a postcard for 20% off on any purchase. I ended up buying the HD Daymaker signature headlight. It may not be as good as Vision X I am not sure about this. The Halo ring is said to increase the side lighting as told to me by a customer that has one.
I had to buy the harness as well to avoid any splicing in to get the halo to work.
By the time I got my discount the price was almost the same as the Vision X one I had previously thought to buy. So I am happy with it, if I ever get it with holiday shipping as it is.
