I was at home sitting in the kitchen and my Dad came home from work, sat his lunchbox on the counter and sat down at the table with tears streaming down his face. It was the only time I very saw him cry.

I was in my math class my senior year and the principal came on the announcing system for all teachers and students to come to the auditorium and he then announced to the school that Kennedy had been shot and school would be dismissed as soon as the bus drivers got to the school.

I was in Kamakura Japan (Navy Brat) and when the bus pulled up to the school, there was a teacher there that came on the bus ... they sent us all home. Since I had no body at home (Dad was Navy and Mom worked in the Navy hospital), I did the home alone thing ... my first time ... and the house survived.

Have no clue ? At that time presidents and government ment nothing to me. With today’s tools , a sniper could take one out a mile away . With all the craziness and wacky protesters today , you got to be a real nut job to want to be in politics. As NO politician has a friend !

I was in JR. High school (7th and 8th grade at the time) and it was announced over the PA system. As an adult, the wife and I visited my sister in Dallas and she took us to the book depository where the shot is thought to have come from. Have they ever determined if there was more than one shooter?
