The 2020 Road Glide limited has all power need to tug the sidecar any where, we have proven that. I have a set of slip on mufflers that are not loud but have some nice tone to them.

S&S stealth AC in the box wait. I also already had all the parts for a Stage 2 CAM job. Order the new cam The second Decide time to bump it up.

The Woods 22X produce more torque from the start and really kicks in a 2,000-2,500 RPMs and keeps going long after red line. It also produce a nice HP increase. It will go in the winter with a Power vision tune.

Cams like the woods 22X require no head work. Just about all of the aftermarket Cams leave the substandard Screaming Eagle parts in the dust .

S&S 475 cam was high on my list. But the Woods 22x provide better torque where I use it.

    So:

    S&S Lifters

    S&S adjustable push rods

S&S steel Lifter cuffs (guides) Replaces HD plastic ones

    S&S cam bearing

    Woods 22X CAM

    S&S Stealth Air cleaner

Fuel Moto 4" jack Pot mufflers

    Power vision Tune.

I want to use a Fuel Moto 2-1-2 Jack pot header but need to make sure it will clear the Reverse cover.

Fuel Moto said the header will fit. So added that to the List FM Jack Pot 2-1-2 hears in SS.

Getting slow in here. Weather here been a bit warmer than expected . So I have been getting some riding in with out sidecar on.

I am darn sure going to have to watch the throttle once it is back on. Friend following me the day straightened out from a left turn rolling at almost a stall speed. Rolled on the throttle hard. Bike took off lifting the font end a bit off the ground had to hit second right away it was already redlined front end came up again. Not bad for a touring bike over 900 lbs.

To much throttle in a curve could get scary real fast.

It's all about throttle control. Something you have to learn. If you can't get use to it then you can have the throttle response reprogram. That is the nice thing about being able to ride different bikes. They all act different something goes with brakes. It's all what you get use to.

I am sure it will not be an issue. This bike make a huge jump in Torque and HP Throttle response is wild. Pulling front end up by rolling on throttle in two gears on a bike this size is power

With all the extra power you have now, are you going to upgrade your brakes especially pulling the hack. I see a lot of people looking for extra power but never do any thing about there brakes.

Dual disk in front ,Disk in rear and disk on sidecar it has plenty of brakes ABS and RDRS. Also with the CAM setup the braking on compression is much stronger.

At first I was concerned with the RDRS and sidecar. but it turned out to be a non issue.

It was 60 today so I rode some. Snow will be here soon. Looking forward to getting the 750 rig out to play.

I do not hot rod on public roads. I had to open it up and lifters. So decided to do the cam while in there. Torque was my goal more than HP. The 22XE cam or the SS475 would have posted higher numbers. But the 22X delivered the Torque at a lower RPM and was steady in the ranges I run most.

I have the Centurion ,can program anything HD can or reset anything on my own.

HP numbers post at the top end are pretty much of no use to me. Tugging a Twin Classic with a passenger Torque is what moves you.

14,000 plus miles on the new rig. Doing everything I expected . Serving us well.

With the shoulder surgery I have decided a little light steering effort would be a good idea..

So Ask Hannigan to go ahead and CNC the steer light tree for me 6% rake.

Edit: Seems the person that knows most about the raked tree is sure 4 1/2 degrees would better suit my needs.

Stronger than some cheaper copper type raked tree.

After doctors appointment on 16Th should have an idea when I setup an install date.Name: trees-top1.jpg

Interested in how the new trees work out. Are you changing the tube length?

with i had seen this earlier

i would definitely suggest the six degree

but then i like VERY easy steering.

i had a 88 flh with 6 deg wish i had more, granted the geometry is different so sorta comparing apples to oranges most said 4.5 or 5 would be good but i got 6 on my road star seriously thinking about building a LL 6 isnt doing for me. i did adapt fl adjustable tree on my v max, set up for about 6 an that works great

    hope u like your results

6 degree with the tube 1 3/4 inch long to keep height the same on my 2017 it worked well.

The 2020 with 18 inch wheels is not bad with no rake.

Getting older. right should had surgery long time ago, left was done June 2nd. taking a little stress off the shoulders may pay off long term.

Time is almost here to get the Rake done. As of now weather is looking like rain. I must be back home Tuesday night after the work is done. Just not to excited about a 530-600 mile ride home at night in thunderstorms. It would not be the first time if I did.

Plan now is to load it up and trailer it down . Still arguing with myself about it. If I had a few more hours to play with I would ride anyway.

The rake is done. Training it down turn out to be a good choice. Got to Murray KY checked in and was at Hannigan 0800.

By 0830 it was in the shop. they had an equipment break down it the shop that held things up a little. By 4PM I was loaded up and heading home. Arrive at 0200.

Specs. Factory rake is 26 degrees Now it is 30 1/2.

Factory wheel base 64 inches now it is 67 1/2..

As I had said before it was not bad. But slow seed or at a stop it was harder to turn. Now it is like power steering.

Default What else do you do on a cold windy rainy day

    You try something different.

My 2020 RGl has a the Harley built in Tire pressure monitor System

So with sidecar I have the front and rear tire showing but not the sidecar. Got the idea to trick the into thinking it was a trike with 3 wheels.

I almost got it. Using my Centurion to work with ECM and BCM I went in change ome setting in the BCM and TPMS and told the bike it was a trike.

One more hurtle to figure out. It will not show the three senors in the menu your register they senors. I am no giving up yet.

Pictures of the process in the Centurion.
