-_ I like this battery placement better for both sides, BUT! The batteries are 1/4" short of fitting side to side, So I'll cut out 1/8" on both sides lower side. And the motor will set on a aluminum diamond plate belly pan with slots for chain adjustment, BUT2 The master Cylinder needs to be moved forward of the bulkhead,

--Batteries are 3.1 high, and YES they are laying on their sides. There's going to be 2-1/8" X 1.5" wide straps running along the bottom in the middle of each battery with a 1/8" thick spacer and under the center upper cross piece. Master cylinder next, and ordered longer hose.

Back in 1968 My Captain friend (Pilot) I was in the back seat. We were in the Duluth Minn. area doing radar check on the defense NORAD radars. We look down about 10,000 ft and saw a pair of F-106's and decided to see if we could jump them out of the sun. All was going great until they spotted us. Damn those afterburners are pretty. Fun times also in the back seat. Nice view though when you are upside down in a dive.
