How do I remove the cat on my 2016? I only want to remove it for the heat. Does anyone have some pipes they want to sell?

Use a 1inch x 16 paddle bit from Lowe's and a good drill. Remove the pipe and take out the o2 sensors and hold on tight as it's tough to drill. I hooked up a shop vac. to the other port on the pipe so as not to breath the dust from drilling. Works well and have done several this way.
You can also buy a head pipe from American Customs exhaust.

I bought a used head pipe from a local dealer for $50.00, took it home and strapped it down to a wooden rail and wailed on it with a hammer and a piece of 2" wide by 1/4" thick flat bar and in a couple hours I had the cat fully removed from the outlet side of the pipe. No cutting nor welding done just a little more noise.

Wrapping made a huge difference for us. I did it when I changed handle bars and needed a longer clutch cable, worth the time and effort. Fred

I bought a used stock header on Ebay. Used sharpie to mark cut lines. Cut both ends of cat area with a hack saw (about 8"apart) about a third of the way through. Used an edge grinder along one side only. Folded out the flap and removed cat material with a chisel. Took to a local muffler shop and had them weld back together and dress off ($15.). I made the mistake of using high temp primer to cover but it peeled in a few months.

wonder if the cats inside is worth anything. you can sell autos for around 100. bucks.
I de catted one ... took forever with a carbide but and a 1/2" hammer drill ... maybe two hours, just seemed like forever. I took the platinum out, maybe a half cup ... nobody here in Grand Junction wanted it ... ended up playing with it and a torch ... maybe 30 minutes, then boredom set in and I chucked it.
