I was wondering what type of tire the Michelin Pilot Activ is? Bias or Radial and is there one for the front of a Valkyre trike? If there is how does everyone like it so far?

MPA is a bias tire, made for rear of unknown bikes. Works very well on front of trikes, longer life, better handling.

Do a search on this forum under "Valkyrie Front Tire" and you should find my thread from 10/09/2008 re Valk tires. My original was 150-80-R17 and the closest tire size I found was the MPA 150-70-17. This size has not been a problem and I have been very happy with it, great handling compared to the original radial. There are lots of threads here regarding mounting rear type, bias tires, on the front of our trikes and all claim better handling, much longer wear, as well as a better price.
I put the MPA (rear tire mounted backwards) on the front of my Valkyrie trike and absolutely love it. Great grip and outstanding wear characteristics. Nearly 15, ooo mi on it and still some to go. For the money, it can't be beat.
