Never have figured out why they don’t re-invent the hot dog bun...they don’t really hold just the weiner...let alone the “stuff” without winding up with a mess. Subway rolls are the closest I have found that are more appropriate.. but basically they are just more bread. We need something that is thinner and hollowed out with sides... a half wrap of sorts.. actually, the style of the paper holder a hotdog is sometimes served in is what I have in mind.

More bread and less stuff ! The next time you order a drink from a fast food joint , tell them NO ICE. The soda is cold from the machine dispenser. Bread is cheep , ice is cheaper.

When my Sons were young up till maybe 15' Ketchup was all they would use on a Frankfurter..AKA Hot Dog....Then Once they developed normal adult taste buds they switch over to mustard ....My Grandkids are young so theres still hope for them...
