The video below was made in 17 degrees early this week...it was COOOOLD!

Made another, better one, day before yesterday in 25 degrees. Amazing how much warmer those 8 degrees felt.

The video turned out much better...6 more inches of actual snow. It should be edited and on youtube next week.

Just a thought, maybe traction control only works in the rain or dry cement, not SNOW, just a thought. I enjoyed the video but me I wouldn't have done it, to much of a chance of getting stuck or going in the ditch and then the damage it would do, not my cup of tea I guess. I do know you like to test things out and that is good, it lets everybody know.

The only thing I would add not all snow is created equal very cold dry versus warmer wet and icy snowing conditions although a great video.

Exactly........The colder it is the better the traction..Wet slushy snow with ice under it is worst than goose shit....I ride in the snow all the time...All-so in snow you must stay off the front brake when you want to stop....But now with linked brakes you can't do that!

In snow once you apply the front brake the tire becomes a Ski...And you can't steer the Trike....

Now to be fair Kevin was testing the traction control and the ABS. The ABS passed however it seems the traction control seemed lacking. I thank Kevin for going out and sharing his adventure with us. He did what I have no intention on doing the time to clean up the mess that would be on the trike, is not worth the time for me to cleaning.

Yeah, that is the conclusion I came to...the HD TC works on dry and wet road surfaces, not snow or ice.

Figure 8's are fun in the snow...but watch out if there is any ice.

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't like the linked brakes...same with gravel or wet grass.

We were really cold (for us) 17 degrees....but it had been frozen rain before the snow, basically an ice skating rink down at the bottom.

Yes, ATV's are a blast in the snow. Our neighborhood was full of them, and side by sides, for days...everyone playing in the snow.

It got up to 69 degrees here after having been only 4 degrees last week. Crazy but I'm not complaining about today. Felt like summertime and I'd have gone for a ride except for two things: I didn't want to venture out until we get a rain to wash the salt and sand off the road (should be this weekend) . . . and I had a dental appointment. Oh well it won't be long now until riding weather is here for good. I can't wait!

Looks like nice clean un-salted snow...Out here it has a light brown salt color with a little brine mixed in for flavor......

Yeah, no road treatment down on our local country roads.

Get on some of the bigger roads, 15 miles from here and there may be some salt or sand.
