???? What is an autoclutch. Never heard of that term.
2009 GL 1800 Champion IRS trike Deep Blue Metallic
2009 Silverwing, dark red
2009 Honda Big Red MUV
2009 Mazda MX5 Miata red Grand Touring soft top
Austin Texas
Never use the clutch again but you still have to shift.
Was originally made for racers now made for everyone
start the bike, put on brake, shift into first and go.
Back off gas to upshift and rev slightly to down shift
pretty slick deal

My "Wing-Smith" trike was never meant to be a dragster so I really don't see the advantage to this system - the only thing being eliminated is depressing the clutch. You still have to let off the gas and use the foot.
What would really make me happy is if Honda produced a Wing with a CVT transmission. Loved it on my Burgman.
Konrad the reason for mine is the fact i want one of our trikes to be operable by both my wife and i. she has parkinsons which she has a problem holding the clutch in and i am a amputee, so with that said i'm not a racer either, we just want to continue riding. I also have a electric pingle shifter.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the setup?

Ah! That makes a lot of sense. And I strongly admire both of you for seeking ways to extend your riding life.
If I may suggest (I have several friends whose feet, knees and hands don't work quite as well as they used to and who have done this) you may wish to look at a Suzuki Burgman 650. This is a maxi scooter with a continuously variable transmission. No shifting - ever. Only two controls - brakes and throttle. It will keep up with anything on the road and will outrun almost everything in the quarter mile.
I apologize for not being able to give the answer you are looking for, but this is a viable alternative.
Best wishes.
I have a serious case of arthritus in my hands and would be very interested in this type of a shifter, hope someone has experience and can respond. Thanks JJTRIKER for asking this question.
I have used the pingle for 5 years and i can tell you with no reservations it is the main reason i can still ride
it is great
