Monkey Bars vs Wild 1 Hooked Apes

Ok - finally decided to pull the pin and trade my 2013 TG on a 2021 TG. I have a set of Paul Yaffe 14" apes (1") on my '13 and really like them. I want to put apes on my '21 but am looking for a little different look that what I have on my '13. I'd like a larger bar (1 1/4") over the 1". Right now I'm torn between Paul Yaffe's 14" Monkey Bars or Wild 1's Chubby Hooked 14" Apes.

I've heard good and bad things about the quality of the Monkey Bars and Paul Yaffe's customer service.

I had a set of Wild 1's 14" WO576's on my 2007 Road King and liked them but the hooked versions have different dimensions and such so I'm kinda at a loss.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either of the two on their TG and what your thoughts are regarding them.

Looking forward to a great riding summer as compared to the lost summer 2020!

Congrats on the new TG decision. If you are not in a hurry you might want to wait on the bars. I hear Harley is still trying to figure out an extended clutch cable for the new ones.

LA Choppers makes a good looking 1 1/4” bar too.

Yeah Fred, I test rode a '21, the clutch is sooooooo smooth now and easier compression.

Yep,guess they got tired of all the warranty issues with oil migration and clutch failures.
