Interesting, I would think that you would have to buy their muffler for the 2:1 system as well, and then block off the crossover pipe. I’ve looked at the aftermarket trike conversion pipes, none fit a stock headpipe. S&S makes a set for their headpipe, looks to have less severe bends which I think is the key. No matter how big the extension is the key is the baffle in the mufflers. Maybe cutting the pipe back further and running a reducer to get down to the S&S pipe size. Summit Racing has a bunch of them.
As a side note, Sheffer Performance just tuned a m8, 124” some head work etc with a stock decatted headpipe, 148 hp, 140 torque, posted on fb. I’m sure there was some left on the table, but that is pretty impressive for a stock headpipe design.
