Installing my baker wings

I was cringing when I had to drill the holes.

I have not had a chance to try them out yet. and to be honest.... the sole purpose of me looking at the wings was for the wind.

once i saw this video (see link below) i was sold on them. I have to try and keep the wind from beating up my wife. There is a lot more wind on the GW than was on my Harley for her. The next thing I'm looking at is an after market windshield.

I'll keep you posted when I take it for a spin.

Thanks for replying. I saw that same video so my needs are a bit different than yours and your wife. I'm primarily a single rider myself with no wife or significant other rider either at this time. Been divorced 32 years and besides she didn't like riding my Sportster back then much and the women I've met and rode with through the years must have thought I wanted to marry them or something like that so I'm still single and they're in my rearview mirror. Not looking but won't say no if the right one comes along. So far the ones I've met only wants another meal ticket or someone to take care of them and their cats and I'm not happy about that arrangement at all. I'd settle just for a companion that likes to do things together and have fun doing them with each other, with me and mutual friends and not some old boyfriend or their grown spend happy kids.

I diverge from topic though. Sorry but after watching the video I think I'd like to try a set. I have always liked to ride in the cold and even the rain at times in years past so I see a future with these in the picture. Thanks again.

I totally dig what you are saying. I guess I just got lucky.. or should I say my wife got lucky to find me!?!?!?!?! hahahahahaha

I'd almost want to bet you a dollar that they work great in inclement weather.
