After market windshields

Looking to buy a new windshield and wondering about pros and cons of Tulsa vs F4. Tulsa is about 1/2 the cost. Twice the value with F4? <br />
Primary purpose is to decrease wind buffeting to passenger. recommend +4 or would +2 be enough? <br />

I've never needed a new windshield myself, but I've heard a lot of good things about
Clearview.

I have used a Tulsa tall windshield on my last two trikes. i really liked both of them. My wife and I get very little wind or buffering from it. We never get wet in the rain because the TT builds a wind tunnel around you. (must be doing 35 MPH to stay dry)<br />

An important feature is the vent in the front. You will need it because you will get very hot in the summer because of the lack of wind. i have the vent and Baker wings and we have no problems at all with it. It doesn't scratch at all. I use Lemon Pledge on both sides of it t9o protect it and I clean it with cotton tee shirts!.

I bought one from CeeBailey for my 1800 GW. It was taller & WIDER than most. The cost was $139 delivered. Wife said she could tell a little bit less wind hit her after installation. I do notice it moves/flexes more than stock but in 3 years have had no problems. I've seen some taller windshields that are laid back enough you had to be careful getting on or it would kiss your forhead.

i had the tulsa tall . i kept hitting my head on it . I still have it in the garage . I bought an F4 . wife got a little cranky about the $$$ we spent , but during the 1st ride she said boy was that worth the money . It is always Crystal clear. You almost have to reach out and touch it to be sure it is still there . See my video of Americade<br />

I have a +4 F4 and love it, get the vent as you will need it on warm days. It been on my Bike and now Trike for a year, still looks brand new, zero scratches, crystal clear.

I removed an old Markland 4" over tall, and 2" wider, and replaced it with the F4. I never knew just how bad the old one was, until I placed the new F4 beside the old one. The F4 gives us the same rain coverage, above 30mph, as the old one did, plus my fuel mileage increased 2-3 mpg. I just use water to clean mine, and dry it with an old cotton towl. LARRY

I've heard good things about the F4 windshield. I am going with the National Cycle VStream Special Edition windshield. Had it on my older trike and really liked it. So I am ordering one for the new trike.

I have an F4 windshield I put on my 2004 Harley Ultra and put about 20,000 miles on the windshield. Still looks like new so transfered it to my 2011 Tri Glide have been very happy with product no spidering and cleans with just water and rag. rain just roles off of it above about 40 mph.

Absolutely amazed no one has told you why the f4 is priced as it is.
The F4 is made w/polycarbonate material and then hard coated. Almost impossible to scratch.
Most others including the Tulsa are made with acrylic plastic-easily scratched.
The F4 is very possibly the last shield you ever need to buy.

I've had an F 4 about 3 years now and wish I would have gotten it sooner. You don't realize how bad the old one was until you get the new one.

I don't have the vent it was recommended to me that it wasn't worth the x-tra it rattled etc....

I would really consider the F 4 as a top choice. It will be the last one you will buy.
