Different Handlebars?

If you can have them call you so you can sit on bike and have handlebars adjusted the way you want before they tighten everything up, if you are going to sit there why they do it, great, I know my harley dealer called me and I went and after playing around at different positions sitting on bike where it felt good and then closing my eyes and reaching out that felt good and glad I did, it worked just fine, then they tighten everything up and I have been happy ever since.

I know Kevin had the dealer install his bars but then later he had to back and loosen to get it back to where he wanted it, he didn't tear everything apart to do it, just took off a panel I think and loosen up the bottom bolts and then tighten them back, there is a post somewhere on here with a picture.

The shop down here in Alabama had my buddy wait while they did his just so he could sit on the bike while they adjusted it to him. I was planning on setting it up that way with Four Rivers. I already know my buddy has his a little too far forward for me.

Just did under 300 miles Thursday and I wish the new bars were on then!

Glad to hear you are planning on being there to get the bars fitted and set the way you want, it will make a big difference in the long run. If your buddy's bars are to far forward for you he must have longer arms or that is what he wanted. Bars are something that need to be set for the driver for comfort and everything else.

Put some pics up when the bars are installed which I'm sure you will.

Your correct I have posted many pictures before I became a gold member. The only restrictions I think are personal messages and for sale items. Support for this forum far out weighs the cost. To keep corporate adds out and friends help friends, worth every penny. As far as posting pictures set a camera on VGA take pictures load on computer select 6 icon second row right to left. Mess with it a little it's easy. Ride safe Fred

Installed the KromeWorks 2+2 Narrow bars on my 2014 Triglide....WOW what a difference. Took a 100 mile test ride....NO PAIN what so ever. BEST add on to my bike so far...highly RECOMMEND these bars to EVERYONE.

I think this has come up before. How many trike owners have changed their stock handlebars out? Up here in the coastal Alabama area and my riding buddy had a shop put 12" apes on his trike. He really likes them and they installed them for right at $700. I think the same shop has 10" which might be a good fit for me. My shoulders are starting to stiffen up some on longer rides.

If I might suggest....Go to bike Rallies…Local Dealer Rides, anywhere there are a ton of Harleys and look. When ya find a size you like, Ask. Never met a rider that didn’t like talking about his/her bike. And I'm betting if ya ask nice like, they will let you sit and get a feel for them. {Ask Before of course} I mean there would not be a million different choices if there were not a million different opinions, and none of ours matter – Just yours. Remember that it does not need to be a trike for size. It's an expensive change....give yourself the best chance at changing it once.
