What they have is lacks security with important data and infrastructure, even Girl Scouts earning 'Cyber Security Badges' can get into it. Hackers attack a Windows operating system because its popular and used by almost everyone (except Apple and Linux users). You'd think these services would have 'Fire Walls' that are impenetrable compared to what the consumer has available.

I have the 'Gut' feeling this is only the beginning, God forbid the FBI should be looking for the perps and in my opinion it seems like an 'Inside' job, run through multiple servers including one in Russia (so lets blame them). The U.S.A. has hackers so good they can make it look like it came from somewhere else. I read a lot of information on computer security, sorry folks. I agree and I would think a back up system, unplug the corrupted system and fire up the back up system or run it on manual until the bugs are worked out. I'm just to simple I guess.

I did a little digging and I found out what the hackers are using and while its used by the 'Good Guys' its also used by the bad guys. https://www.kali.org/ So basically what can be used for good can be used for evil. Wake up American Infrastructure and business, back up and secure your data have your IT department check the system for back doors.
