That’s not except-able. First you didn’t treat me to a VIP meal at Cracker Barrel when you were in Jackson and now you’re not posting pics of MV. I’m gonna start a petition to have you banned from TT. :D:wave4: Have a great time in our TN MTS.

Not too much you can do when you were deemed COVID positive the first day you are here. Sue gets her second test tomorrow. If she is negative, we will be leaving on Saturday. If not we will be spending a few more days here until she can get treatment. Was told yesterday, as long as we are in the vehicle by ourselves we can count that as being isolsted.

Ray, I am so sorry. I sure hope her test is negative.

You need to quit doing taxes in Sept so you can come to MV. I believe we will be coming back next year !! So many great roads here in NC & so little time.

We been telling her that for years!

Glad your having fun! Where were you Tues night when we had a video call to the porch sitters?

I was in NC for a wedding on May 15. I made the big mistake of agreeing to a car trip with my brother when his daughter's wedding was originally planned for January so I had to leave my trike at home.

We spent 2 nights in New Orleans, so it was a fun trip. I also rode over 4,500 miles through several states before it got smoking hot. Not like I have my left leg chained to the desk.

We are also home after a great time in MV. Met some new friends & plan to return next year. Thanks again for the great rides MIKE...I have to say MV ranks right up there with Kerrville. We had so much fun we stayed an extra day to ride with Mike & Ron & their gals. :clapping::clapping:

Move

Now y’all know why I moved to this area

Wednesday ride took you right into my back yard

with that said. Those of us who were there enjoyed ourselves immensely

what do we do to increase attendance? Move to October and some fall colors?

Maybe change venue -say Townsend which would open up many more great roads. Thinking out load

Ric and I returned to his home in Greeneville, TN via Pidgeon Forge on Fri. Ric is a car buff and we found ourselves in the middle of the biggest car show he has ever seen. We had lunch at Mel's Classic Dinner where the food is very good and the staff is just as fun/funny as the TV show.

We had such a fantastic time Ric is talking about returning next year and he may even have a trike by then! He was able to push his 2 wheeler enough to keep up in the twisties but said we wore him out! He also said he'd never be able to ride a trike thru the twisties like we do.

Our ride time was cut a bit short on Wed. when my GW developed a "clunk" in the front end. We diagnosed the problem as a faulty wheel bearing and returned to MV. Thurs. the Schroader Honda shop in Hendersonville found the problem was a rusted triple tree bearing and the tree had buggered threads. Troubleshooting and replacing the triple tree, with a lunch break only took 3 hours! I can't say enough good things about Schroaders, they were absolutely fantastic. Motorcycle Mike was the hero of the day. He trailered the Wing to and from the shop, saving me from having to ride a bad bearing and worry about it locking up. Thanks again Mike.

It was great to see, ride with and socialize with everyone who was able to make it this year. This was my first riding trip back to Maggie since the accident. I can't express how good it was to ride the twisties again.

Looking forward to an even better 2022 Labor Day week.

Ed

We just got home. Sorry for not checking in while we were there but we were having too much fun.

This is the first time I've been on the computer all week.

It was great seeing old friends and making new ones.

We really missed the ones who couldn't make it.

Let do it again!

Thanks for leading the rides. We were walking around like zombies all week because we were so bummed out that we couldn't go. Really missed seeing you guys.

Your welcome Ed. I'm all ways happy to help a fellow rider.

John and Jan, No thanks needed. I just went for a ride and a bunch of folks decided to followed me.

It was great to be back after missing the last three. We sure were hoping to see both of you as well as the other regulars that had to miss out.

We hope your feeling better and repairs go well on the bike.

See ya next year.

It had to be a real bummer to be there with the rest of us and not be able to participate. We were thinking of you but that's not the same. I pray you're past the worst of it and Sue stays negative.
