Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and new to custom builds. I am 3/4 through a build and find that I may need to sell the trike a project as potentially need the cash
As this is my first custom build im not sure how to value it and what kind of price to put for it.
The trike currently has:
Full custom steel box frame
Custom forks
Suzuki GS500E engine (starts first time)
suicide clutch/gear lever
Custom fuel tank
Twin exhaust
Led indicators and automatic led headlight
chain driven live rear axle
external fuel pump
Push button start
16*8" alloy wheels on rear (£250 alone)
Whats left to do:
Finish wiring (3/4 done)
Fabricate one engine mount
bleed front brake
small amount of metal fabrication (basically adding end caps to frame ends)
add wheel arches
mount mirrors (have them just not mounted)
check welds and paint
Have done a fair bit to it since this video but this give you an idea of the look and style of the trike
Any idea on pricing or advice would be super helpful.
Thanks
Jake
Jake welcome. First when dealing with customs there is no set way of pricing ones work. Start out with what it cost for parts and go from there. The big problem is finding someone who wants what you have done. Good luck selling it will be interesting.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Don't know if this is comparable: When guys build custom cars they rarely get enough money to cover the cost of the parts they put in it.
Then to add insult to injury, a 550 cc engine is pretty small for a trike.
Good luck with selling your project, tho.
