Fathers day

This Fathers day will be different for us. My Father passed away this morning. He had been struggling for the past while so it was a blessing, now he's at peace.. He was 90, he was an auto mechanic his entire life, back when you actually had to repair things not just replace them. You actually tuned engines and rebuilt carburetors didn't just replaced what the computer told you. He will be missed. Thanks for listening.

Condolences my friend. At least he will always live on in your heart and mind. I lost mine 29 years ago this past April 15th and yet it feels like only yesterday. I fully understand. My father was a master Tool, Die and Instrument maker machinist but I too went on to become a near master mechanic and owned a medium sized shop for many years and I too got my start on old 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder flatheads and even made many of my own gaskets from gasket paper and from brass shim stock on the connecting rods to the crankshaft and used the 6 volt battery systems before vehicles went to 12v systems. Old times indeed. 'Till we meet again dad'..........

the hospital with him. Precious memories forever.
