I got back to S Falls Tuesday afternoon....after a 2.5 hour flight . I know most everybody else had a much longer drive home
. Had a small skin cancer removed at dermatologist Wednesday morning, and headed north back to home.
I had a blast...the roads were great...scenery was spectacular...and the weather was comfortable - for the most part. What a group of great people...and riders, all. Not a dud in the whole group!
Kurt & Sally ... a truly interesting and varied ride...scenery and roads and locations ..the mine, the lake, (traffic in Payson), etc...what a great meal on Saturday afternoon...and the campside fellowship was great....(have I used that word before?)...and Sally thanks for the info at the mine overlook.
Kevin & Mary, a pleasure to see you guys again. Kevin, thanks for the information and help with the tools at the mine overlook! (Loctite is our friend
)
Chuck and Karen...what a ride!...thanks for the test drive...between the motor and the heli-bars...what a ride!
Lola, a pleasure to meet you...what an inspiration to see you travel that far to the area...alone!...and what a rider!
Jim...a fellow GW rider!
...a pleasure to meet you...(and glad you found a total stranger at McDonalds Friday morning!)
Bob...Longest traveler? (or is it the MS couple?) Dessert at the Saturday meal was excellent!!
Nick & Gladys (?) Clint Eastwood?!? Ha! ... glad you were able to make it Saturday and was really nice riding back to AJ with you guys after Morenci...you really 'turned up the wick' on the way back!
I sure hope this AZ ride continues, whether Eastern or Western or Northern or Southern or....I'd ride with this group again...anywhere!
And to all the Vets ... Thank You for your service.
Bill
