Sportsters were the hot setup when I was young. Then in Harley's great wisdom they decided to promote it as an entry level and or girls bike. And the so called bikers of today fell for it hook line and sinker. Shame really.:Shrug:

That evo Sportster was the best air cooled motor HD ever built especially with those beautiful oil cooled heads on the XR.. So I asked my dealer a couple of weeks ago- why couldn't HD keep the traditional Sportster tank on this new model? They're marketing to a younger customer he said. Might as just as well said why don't you old guys just hurry up and die?
