Yes, changing the mufflers can be done. Not something I would do, but each their own.

Your CSC muffler is ONE big boxy thing that has exhaust pipes from each cylinder bank going into it and two exhaust tail pipes coming out. I don't know if each side is baffled or separated from the other. At any rate, I think it would be a very expensive undertaking to try to change it. Perhaps there are tail pipe resonators that can be fitted.....? I know my CSC Cobra has the same exhaust set up. It is a bit louder than stock GL1800s. Probably not the answer you are looking for..... Jim

Your CSC Encore comes with dual CSC built factory dual exhaust that has Super Trap style stacked tuning discs. It is slightly louder than the stock. I would suggest leaving it as is or call Will at CSC in customer support if you are determined to find a solution to make it quieter. Most find the sound is an improvement over stock. I agree.

Thanks everyone,
I did talk to CSC and they told me basically I got what I got which is just fine.
Was just wondering if I could do anything about how loud the bike is but on the same note the 2018+ Goldwing is louder than the bike before it.
I do think a lot of the road noise does come from the tires which can be fixed.
Thanks,
Al
