New to the forum. I had called CutnNShoot to ask about possible trike kits for early 80 model Honda Goldwings and was told about this site by the owner. I currently ride a 2008 Yamaha Venture 1300 with a Hannigan kit while I'm rebuilding an 83 Aspencade and 81 Interstate.

I was hoping to convert the 81 Interstate to a trike but have not found anyone that makes a kit for the older bikes. My 1st bike was an 82 Aspencade that saw 169,000 mikes. With 3 GoldWings, a Silverwing and the Yamaha trike I've got over 400,000 mikes on 2 wheels and about 12,000 mikes on the trike.

I am a native Texan, born and raised in Midland and about 6 years in the Ruidoso N.M. area and currently retired. I am also a U.S. Army veteran from the mid 70s.

Thanks y'all. 25 years sober myself. Can honestly say I only rode once drunk and when I woke up several hours later in my bed after driving about 30 mikes and no damage to the bike or me and hadn't caused an accidents it never happened again.

There was a company that made conversions for older Wings, the company folded some time ago. The name of the company was Triwing Industries. You may have to make your own by sourcing a Ford Ranger/Mustang axle, doing a lot of cutting and welding. Then finding a fiberglass body. The only other source is Torbleau Trikes in Wisconsin.

You have come to the right place for trike info and good helpful people.

I lived in Midland 1975-2019….on 2-wheels, later a Gold Wing trike and now a Spyder. Moved to Kerrville in 2019. I do miss the drier air and constant 20mph wind (on a calm day) out there. I also miss not being able to watch the weather…too many trees in the Hill Country to see very far around you.. LOL… but we have lots of twisty roads to ride here and no matter where we are it isn’t too far home.
