Hi BigDaddy! You live up near my daughter and her family, and Mike and I ride up from the Dayton area often through the summer. Hope we meet up with you some time up there .
Welcome to TrikeTalk! We have quite a few VW trike owners, and I know you'll get lots of help with your questions.

welcome aboard glad you joined us. I do not know Ohio statutes but go on line and check them looking for something like "Assembled from parts" inspection and title.

I know it can be done, my V8 trike was built and titled in Ohio
Don't know about OHIO but here in crazy Conn. U need to keep records of every piece you buy. like : What is the Vin # of the car the motor came from what is the Vin # of the rear end sales slips from the Wheels or the Vin #of the front end and receipt for the tires and what bike the rear fender belongs to. Proof Proof Proof
thanks for the help. Ive heard of buying a titles motorcycle frame and using yhe neck will this work
I don't know about Ohio, but it was pie for me here in Arkansas. Just have to get rebuilders paper, write a letter saying you are not building to resale, then get insurance, send it all in with the car that the driveline came out of's title, & the state declares it a motorcycle.
thanks for all the help Ive been doing all the researce I can but its hard finding the info I need. I will not give up yhis will be built one way or another
All the info you need SHOULD be at your local DMV... After all.. they are the ones doing the registration for you..
