07 Venture/Hannigan Trike. ‘Drive Pulley’?

I took my Venture to our local dealer for a clutch issue. I had a lot of play at the handle and shifting was tough.

After they took a look at it, they said the lower hydraulic needed rebuilt. So they ordered the parts. Two weeks later, I get a call from them saying that when they went to start the repairs, they noticed that “All four bolts on the Drive pulley are sheared off”. He said they have never seen this before, and attributed it to being converted into a trike. - Have any of you Venture Trike owners had this happen?

something doesn't look quite right in that picture. If you look at the mating surface for the bearing it looks like it is shifted to the right quite a bit. The machining for the bearing shell doesn't line up.

I had to replace my little drive gear at 100,000 miles, on my Road Star trike. The teeth did not look bad, but they were rounded out some and the belt slipped bad.

Am I missing something here? This is a Yamaha Venture right? I don't of any Venture from that year that came with a "drive pulley". Is a belt drive part of the trike conversion?

Your comment caused me enough concern that I drove out to take a look at it myself. Everything is fine, they got the bolts out without too much trouble. We just have to wait for the replacement bolts to arrive.
