Tri-Glide electrical or mechanical hidden latch

Is there an aftermarket latch assembly that utilizes an electrical or hidden mechanical latch opener? Was thinking it would be neat/handy to remotely unlatch the trunk.

I read about some trunks opening, while going down the roads. Something to think about.

Just doing some thinking, if it would be a good option to have on the Tri.

Harley can make a simple latch with only one moving part that will Never let the door open unintentionally.....Similar to the latch/handle on all the homeowners Amish type front door barns....But that's not their priority......

Not that I am aware off. This door opening has been a subject of past topics alot. The best solutions were "keep your button oiled" "don't slam the door, gently close it" maybe "shoot some wd40 up into the mechanism"I believe the conclusions also was only about 2% of doors came opened when riding. And that was usually just after purchasing the bike because the latch was out of adjustment. Nothing like a well oiled machine!

I was just engineering a thought. Kinda like “chirp chirp” and the SO can access the trunk or “chirp chirp” it is locked and you can walk away without having to feel around for keys.

I was told a long time ago not to “slam” things unless you were wrestling and doing a ‘body slam’. On my Bushtec lid, I lower the lid, let it make contact, and then push down on the lid and listen for the latch to click. I had read where a lot of owners just let their lids fall and slam shut. This resulted in broken latches and/or no access to their cargo, when on the road! Also, the latches are not cheap to replace!

I never lock my trunk or top box and never the bars..??...Maybe its because of where i live or where i ride to and park....And just in case i never leave anything in them that will cost me more in aggravation and money then to replace broken locks ...
