    Default Reflex Defense Rider System

Ok, so correct me if I'm wrong. Everwhere you look on You tube and on the web states definately that the Harley Davidson Reflex Defense Rider System (RDRS) includes 3 specific items that are not on the TG Reflex Defense Rider System. 1. Vehicle hold 2. TPMS 3. TC Rain Mode. Yet they advertise it as part of the RDRS system not ever mentioning these 3 specific item are not included on the TG. I believe they are included on the TG CVO. Commies!

[Note; This post is by Bob's evil twin, And might or might not reflect the view's of the good Bob]...

Why would you need them on a Trike???....Just about as useful as a kick-stand..

Unless someone doesn't have clutch brake accelerator coordination, can't work an air gauge.....And also doesn't understand that you really should not hit the accelerator hard in the rain.

Well, Bob's Evil twin; You got me there! Sometimes I think I pay for things and I'm getting the whole sha-bang. When in reality I didn't. Did they discount the cost of those 3 items when they sold me the TG?

Probably not. There are many of us out there that don't have the clutch, brake, accelerator coordination, can't work an air guage, and don't understand that you really should not hit the accelerator hard in the rain. We are labeled as, well, I don't need to adjective-ize it all. But, I been in that category for years now. I can't walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. Sometimes my elevator don't go to the top. Sometimes I'm not playing with a full deck or I'm 1 brick short of a full load. Anyway, it would be ok to have those things. But, Oh well!

Trying to keep my Evil Twin off the keyboards is akin to trying to herd Cats...Deep down he really a nice guy and he means well.....Its just at times he lacks the necessary social skills...

Getting back to Harley Davidson ...Harley works in mysterious ways...They give it and then take it away....Or in real terms We give it money...And they take the money away......

I would consider paying them a little extra to LEAVE ALL THE NANNY "features" OFF the Trikes.

I thought the same, just bought 2021Tri Glide thinking I was getting TPMS . Not so. Do you know if that can be added so it will show on Boom display?

Vehicle hold would be a benefit on a really steep hill at the stop light especially when some person pulls up right on your bumper

if you have a bumper. If not, you really need the vehicle hold feature.

I investigated that. Here is the information I gathered from the dealership I purchased my TG from. The capabilities are in the boom display. The TPMS Valves that go inside the Tire/rim are not designed for the Regular TG Rims. Therefore, you need to purchase new rims that are designed to fit the TPMS Valves. (Basicly CVO Rims was my thoughts) There may be another regular looking TG Rim that you can buy from HD, I didn't research any further. So, let's just say you bought the rims and the "special" TPMS valves. Then you would have to have them installed for more $$. Somewhere in my head I had the number of $250 per rim. Don't quote me on that though. Anyway that is were my research stopped and I just went out and bought a Sykik Rider TPMS Set up for $89. There are other comparable brands out there. Then I ran into the issue of Rubber valve stems VS Steel valve stems. I choose to stay with rubber for now but probably the next tire change I will have steel stems installed.

Yes I would of liked to have the "factory" OEM system set up, but, Oh Well!

Let us know what you find out.

Does matter if they cause a flat? Heck no, you now have a gauge to tell you when they fail. Win win right there.

Yes, different strokes for different folks. Some people like the new technology and some people do not like the new technology. To each his own whatever makes a person happy. Right?

A video that may be relevant to some thinking about getting a 2019 or 2020 Harley Trike with all the new tech.

Like windsurfed said, different strokes for different folks. Personally the only new nanny tech I like is the ABS brakes.
