Good thing it aint a right side shifter like Sportsters used to be
Can you imagine what fun that would be to unlearn again
I was just thinking about, when the Tri gets here. First, I have a Wing with a five speed tranny and turn signals on one handlebar side. My StreetGlide has a six speed tranny and turn signals on both sides of the handlebars. Now, when I ride the Wing, I have to remember not to keep trying to shift into sixth gear and turn signals are on the left bar. When I “ride the Glide”, I have to remember to shift into sixth gear and not run around in fifth gear and turn signals are on both sides of the bars.
Now, what am I going to do on the Tri? Steering adjustment will be the first thing, putting my feet down, will be the second thing, not being able to lean will be third, and having a reverse will be cool. I bet I will find some more things as I ride the Tri.
Should be interesting! LOL

The first thing you shouldn't do is over think it...The second thing is be careful when you pull in for gas that you don't run over the the gas pumps what with the wide rear end on the trike...Other than that you'll do just fine..Oh, Yea' no counter steering turn the bars in the direction you want to go......

I used to be married; I know about that “push and pull” stuff! She used to push me to do things and when she found out that I liked doing some of them, she would try and pull me away from it! LOL
Seriously, I used to ride a tricycle and ….. LOL
Just kidding, I really do wonder if it will mess with my head for a bit, until I get used to it.

Yeppers! I ain’t go no big butt, so I am going to try and learn to stay away from them pumps and things that go bump, when you ain’t looking! I usually ride up to a pump, reach over, stick my card in the slot, and start pumping gas; all without getting off the bikes. Gonna have to break that tradition.

I have a Road King plus the trike and I don't have any problems with switching from one to another. It will become second nature to you.

I took my Electra Glide out after riding my Trike for a month and I actually almost forgot to put my feet down at a stop. I know people behind me probably thought I was a rookie.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
It is getting to be more natural to choose the Tri.
Yup. The extra cargo capacity is great.

….. until the warranty runs out, then my ‘egg yellow’ Bushtec “aig hauler” will be attached to the Tri. LOL Being solo, I doubt that I will really every need that much cargo carrying capacity, unless I find a group of riders to go riding with that needs extra carrying space.

I usually ride the “tail gunner” position, when I ride with others. I have always done this for people that have problems and the others keep going. I also voice my opinion, when I see the others later on. I am not going to wish breakdowns on anyone, because Ms. Karma likes to come around.
Wow! A Wing pulling a Thumper on a trailer! It must be the guy with the business phone number: 1-800-HAULHOG! LOL

I looked for the picture I had taken 10 years or so on the way to Sturgis. It was of a GW pulling a similar trailer with the words "Harley Recovery" along with a cell number. Sadly I must have deleted the file.

There is a writing on the bathroom wall in Luckenbach, that says call 1-800- Haul a Harley. (Too many letters and numbers to be real.) Of all places for it to be written. LOL
