Ok i just installed a roadsmith kit in my gl1500 and it came with a 3 degree rack kit, Had not installed the rake kit yet, just wondering if anybody rides a gl1500 with a 3 degree rake? and what do you think?

I think most Goldwing riders prefer a 6 degree rake. I have 4 and 1/2 on mine and it is OK but I would do a 6 if I were to change..... Jim

4-1/2* rake was on my 2008 GL1800. Only thing I had to compare it to was NO rake. With rake this thing was GREAT!
Not sure if the ergonomics would be different for a GL1500 and what degree rake it would take.
Call Papa Zook who owns this forum and is a long time trike builder.... he can give you all the straight info as well as sell you a rake kit at a reduced cost.
