Climbing on and off and looking cool

Wondering how you all climb on and off your trike.

I have tried the hop hop leg-over approach (not very cool), the step up on the footrest while holding the grips approach (better) and the flip down the passenger footrest and pivot approach.

I guess depending on how good a gymnast you are, could be multiple ways. Run up behind it and jump over the rear seat like a cowboy mounting a horse?

How do you all mount your trikes?

Standing on the ground I just hold on to both grips and swing my right leg over the seat and plop my ass down…?..

Taller you are the better, less arthritis you got the better, I just step on passenger foot rest, swing leg over and plant right foot on right passenger foot rest, slide right into the seat. And if wife is already in back seat, makes it even harder. I will not swing leg over seat anymore, heel marks on seat is cleanable, but a tear, I would not be a happy camper.

I grab the handlebars and foot up from the floor board

I throw my leg over the saddle just as I have since 3 years old with my first pony… then all the subsequent horses and motorcycles.

Standing on the left side of the bike (of course), put right foot on the riders footboard, left foot back on the passenger footboard and (while holding both handgrips) step up on your left foot and flip the right leg over. I've used this method for years to get my broke-dick ass in the saddle. Note: If your clumsy, learn to put your helmet on before this procedure. It's a hard fall if your right hand slips off the handgrip. Ask me how I know this!

For me it is, backrest folded down, both hands on handlebars, stand on left floorboard and swing right leg over to the right floorboard. Standing on both floorboards I put the backrest into the upright position and plant my butt on the seat. If I try to just swing my right leg over when standing on the ground, my considerable belly gets in the way...... Jim

I grab the handlebars, step up on the passenger footrest with my left leg, swing my right leg over landing it on the right side drivers footrest as I sit down on the seat and then bring my left leg forward to my left drivers floorboard.

Left foot on left floorboard,fold down backrest, step up, grab handlebars, swing right leg up and over, raise backrest, sit down, start motor, drive off

With two artificial knees, cool left me years ago (not that I ever was), I would do the chicken dance if it helps me get on.

When i rode bikes i always got on from the left & got gas from the left side. But with the trike i get on from the right. I place my right foot on driver footrest & then move my left leg across seat. No need to pull backrest down. I also fuel up from the right, just much easier for me.

I was always told by people l trust that no matter how I get on my Triglide I always look Cool 😎..Even when I put on my helmet and knock my sunglasses to the ground..😱..

I always get on from the right side just as i did on a 2 wheeler. But with a fake leg i have to pick the left leg up and get it over the seat and then rush to get it all the way over before the fake knee bends and hits my side cover. Been working it this way since 2015. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

I'm old enough that I no longer GAF about looking cool. I approach from the left side, grab the left grip with my left hand, left foot on the left board and over goes the right leg....

In the morning or the beginning of a day ride I am in the group that steps on the left drivers floorboard, holds onto bars, swings right leg over onto right passengers floorboard, then flops down.

After 200 or more miles I swing my leg as best I can up and over the seat, then side on. Either way the DW is always on first, unlike when we were on 2 wheels.

Neither way looks too cool, but it is easier then getting in my buddies new Corvette.

NO such thing....lol I added a "mid" step (a bit pricey) to my TG, It makes it so much easier to get on. FORGET about the coolness.. Just my opinion..

Just before i get [Jump] on my Tri-Glide......And if i see people watching me, I point up to the sky and yell....''Look a Chicken Hawk''....

....Then as their looking up and away from me i jump on the Trike so no-one see's how un-cool i can be at times.....
