130/70R-18: Let us know how you like it. Mine will not go on until I get over 10K on my trike. Headed to Milwaukie mid-July and this should do it.
Current tire still had 4/32 tread - but sine I will reach the 10K mark, I need to have my bike serviced. May as well change the tire since I have another trip in August. This trip will hopefully let me know how the new tire compares.
I will let you know when I have it mounted (I don't own a tire mount'n machine) so I have to pay "the man" to mount it for me..
This 4th of July holiday is putting me behind, and then the on-line company send'n me the wrong tire, didn't help matters at all either..
I'm leave'n for New Hampshire on July 12th, so i'm trying to get everything in order before I leave..

Hey, you are like me - I pay to have mine mounted. Harley dealer told me it is about $105 to do this, including the TPMS that is already there. So, he needs to make sure all is working.
Could probably get it done cheaper somewhere else - however, if something goes wrong - including the TMPS, the dealer can resolve.
Enjoy

Got my Avon Trike Tire mounted on July 30th. My old tire had just 10K on it and still have about 4/32 tread left. Know I didn't need a tire - but wanted to try this new avon.
Service guy that installed it said he could see the difference in the tread - more in the middle. Siad if should help some when riding and perhaps last longer.
So far, have only travelled about 30 miles - nothing to report yet; I don't feel anything different, and I hope to get some additional miles on the bike soon. Have a trip over 1000 miles coming in August so that will be me some additional idea.
Checked the tire pressure all around last night. Adjusted the front to 40 and the rear tires to 24. Headed out for about 150 miles or so today to see how things feel. Also got my 10K checkup - so, I always like to run the bike on short trips after service before headed on longer ones.
One last thing - just before the service work, I rode the bike and parked it slightly uphill. Noticed antifreeze leaking - seemed to be quite a bit. Got the bike home and put a white towel under it - no leaks. Asked them to check for any leaks. Service found no leaks from any hoses and the water pump and fan all checked out good.
He continued to explain that when you run the bike, any antifreeze that is laying in the bottom may come out over the overflow valve if you park uphill. There are two places where leaks have been reported - both are clamps and mine both look good. Expanding and contracting has usually been the cause.
Parked the bike at home, still put the towel under it - no leaks.
Update to my last post.
Have run the bike a few hundred miles - including highways speeds of 75 mph or so. Got the bike back home - no leaks. So, as the dealer mentioned it must have been where the liquids were laying when I parked the bike uphill. (Still have the towel under it).
Got a trip coming up starting Aug 15th - so, just keeping an eye on everything.
Next - I think I can share some thoughts on the new Avon tire. The radial tire definitely runs smoother on the highway - and you can tell that it gels with the rear radial tires.
Tire has more composite in the middle - so, if you are not aware of that, it might look like the tire has more miles on it that it actually does. As someone suggested, use the wear bars to determine where you stand.
So, far, I am pleased with this.
i ordered and received a week ago from SUNRISE AUTO MOTORSPORT in Searcy Arkansas. He had 9 in stock and shipped the same day. $250 plus $28 freight to Florida. and for what it's worth, i noticed a difference immediately from the stock GW tire when I rode it home. must be because its a bit more flat rather than rounded, that's what I perceive.
