Feather Lever Hydraulic Clutch Kit

This sounds interesting! Does anyone have this or know anybody that has this Feather lever hydraulic clutch kit installed on their motorcycle and what is you thoughts?

John R Mickowski is the inventor. The Tri Glide (2020) Kit is MC-400 and cost $595 and the install kit is $159. Suppose to reduce clutch lever force pull by 80-85%. Normal clutch pull for the TG is around 20 Lbs.

Claims to reduce clutch pull to around 1 1/2 Lbs. Takes about 1 1/2-2 HRS to install.

I had one on my 2014 FLHXS. You might get the unit installed in 2 hours but you'll be the rest of the day getting the air bled out of it. I ended up buying a break bleeder kit.

Once all the air was out, it worked great... you could hold the lever in with one finger. But since the system works off of engine oil pressure to reduce the pull force, the RPM's need to be up. The reason I installed this unit was due to arthritis.

I've had it on for about 6000 miles and I was happy with it. Just recently I was stuck in bumper to bumper stop and go traffic in 90 degree weather. When traffic freed up, I took off and the clutch slipped in every gear. Once the oil cooled down, everything was normal.

I took my bike to my local shop to get serviced and check the clutch out and apparently the rubber O-rings in the Feather Lever went to shit.

Needless to say, I took the unit off and went back to the stock setup. My next investment is a Rekluse clutch. Rekluse Auto Clutch: Everything You Need to Know

I have a rekluse clutch installed on my bike and have about 8000 miles on it and love everything about it. I already had it installed on my bike when I came across this other method. Just was wondering if anybody had any information on it. Thank you for your input I really appreciate
