So to make a long story short. P.O. of my 2014 TG cross threaded a wheel stud and of course it broke off. I figured one of the local HD dealerships would have one. NOPE! Not 1 dealership out of the 26 that I called in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, or Kansas had a wheel stud in stock. I know that HD make a lot of their money on routine services (oil, fluids, and tires) but why do they NOT keep any actual parts in stock anymore? This is why motorcycles never became a primary mode of transportation in the US like they did in Europe. What happens when you break down in Colorado SPrings on your way hame and no one, and I mean NO ONE (not even NAPA Auto Parts) has a freaking wheel stud or some other part? You are just stuck like Chuck. Fortunatley Pikes Peak HD ordered me one and had it expedited and it "should" be here by Friday so i can get my trike back in the garage before weather hits this weekend. Sorry for the rant.
