With the V 8 engine right out in the open on a trike, is there a protective screen made for the front of the engine, other than a mud flap. Air should pass through but no sticks or stones can pass through ?

I had a VW Dune and buggy and in order to pass the Jersey inspection 1971…72 and 73 I had to cover the exposed engine once I passed and left the inspection station I would just 86 the screen..
I got the engine screen from ; Rube Goldberg.Com….😉😉.
And from the looks of *Some* home made trikes I think Rube is still in business..😉😉

The screen or expanded metal was on my list too. I wanna fit as fat a tire as I can on a Fatboy solid wheel. Thanks for your input.
