Hi Everyone, I'm Tim McVeigh from Little Britain, Ontario, Canada. We have just bought a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C50 with a Lehman Tramp Trike conversion. I'm really hoping My Wife Linda will have some good times on this, so far I've put a couple of hundred Kilometers on it and some problems are cropping up but I'm sure I'll be able to cure them. I find it to be a lot of fun to drive and find it has good power for the roads up here. That solid axle does hit the bumps in the roads pretty hard though.
We have added a Top Box to it using a Wompus Rack, the service from Mike is really great he had it made and powder coated and delivered to our door within a week, that better service than Amazon(LOL)
maybe someone has a suggestion the one troubling problem is the rear brakes. The left wheel locks up and then pulls the bike to the left, we took back to the dealer we bought it from and he just adjusted the brakes using the parking brake to test the drag instead of actually taking it out on the road for a test ride. I think he was the one who actually built it since the shop was a Lehman dealer at one time. I thinking about pulling the right wheel off to see if there is anything not right in there I'm even wondering if there might be an oil leak from a seal. The other problem he panned off as not significant is the rear end pinion is weeping oil. After riding it and parking it in the garage all you smell is rear oil, it not so bad as to actually drip on the floor since I have put cardboard under it and there aren't any spots on it, but that's why I'm wondering about the brakes having oil on them. any suggestions would be helpfull, as I want my wife to safe when she takes it out.
Thanks
Tim McVeigh
