40 years on 2 wheels, finally made that move

Hello all,

Been on two wheels for 40 years. Decided to make that move to 3, so I picked up a 2010 Ultra Tri Glide. We are looking forward to putting many miles on this beauty.

The ride seems pretty rough and the handling a little squirrely compared to the two wheeler, on these horrible PA. roads. Hope to make good use of the forums Here. IMG_2215 (2).jpg

Beautiful bike. You said Harley TriGlide - I was not aware that Harley had running boards. Are they aftermarket?

If the handling is a little rough, try to determine if the bike has a rake kit - this will vastly improve the handling. Enjoy

Welcome to TT from Ohio. There is a lot you can do to make it better. Rake kit from Cut N Shoot customs, ProAction suspension https://pro-action.com/splash.html. Produced there in Pa, talk to George, Lower rear tire pressure to 22-23 psi. Hope this helps.

I actually rode down to Tx to have my rake kit installed . Nice folks & have never looked back.

Lift kit and Tire Pressure first two things to do.......ThumbUp

Ledge lift brackets

I live in Pa as well. Couldn't agree more with the roads. One suggest I have is look into adding Legend lift brackets. Had a 2019 free wheeler with lift brackets and I just traded it for a 2022 tri glide. I had the dealer install them for an additional $400. Well worth the money. They make a world of difference with handling especially turning.
