I was at a swap meet at a local Harley shop today and was talking to the sales manager, and asked why he didn't have any new trikes on the floor. And he said he cant get any, cant even order any because HD is having issues getting certain trike parts. Has anyone else heard this?

No, my local dealer has quite a few on the floor in all 4 of his show rooms

Have you actually seen them (new ones)and sat on them not just looked at their web sites pictures?…I was at a dealer and when I asked about the one on their web site…I was told you should have been here yesterday….We just sold it..! Would you like to put an order for the next one that comes in?..🔄..

Yes I have, at 2 of their locations, both within 15 miles of me

Let’s see …. Mine was dealer ordered in October for their one ‘allocated Tri Glide’. I got it a few weeks ago! Nobody will give answers as to why it was late, when there were four in Oklahoma, one in Garland, and one in Albequerque on dealer floors that were available for sale. This has turned me off on buying another Harley.

Oh, I didn’t mention the defective parts that have replacement parts on back-order, until June! Trike has to be in neutral to start. I am hoping that it doesn’t stall at an intersection, because some may run over me a cause me to quit posting here.

I have snuck in 300 miles for three short highway runs. No a very good mileage for days owned!

Wake up Harley Davidson and find your bad employees!

Okay, off the soap box.

When I bought my 2022 Tri-Glide, my dealership had 6 Tri-Glides in stock. My dealership is a small dealer. Clinton, Iowa. They sold all of them in 3 days. Mine was one of them.

Just wondering, because I didn't see it mention. Have tried to pull in the clutch and step on rear brake at the same time and than try to start the engine? If your new to HD, the dealers don't always tell you the tricks.

Good catch Pat……Clutch in and or foot/hand brake on hard and it should/will start in gear ⚙️ 👍

Sorry, but it is a defective neutral switch in the left grip. We were trying all of the ‘shortcuts’ everyone knew, but they would not work. Dealer put it on the scanner and found out it was the switch. Also found out the cruise works through the same switch.

Still waiting on replacement switches (both sides).

That is how mine will start in gear, just hate this feature just doesnt seem safe.

I Find It Easy To Just Put Mine In Neutral And Use Parking Brake As needed.

One of the posters problem with that arrangement and or the using the brake to start it ‘ if you stall the trike in the middle of an intersection and then you have to slow to put it in neutral or stop to put on the brake the guy behind you could run you over..

I haven’t stalled a bike since the 60’s..That is till I bought a 2017 Tri-Glide and the engagement point on the clutch lever was ridiculously small and after I ran into that problem I went out and got an adjustable clutch lever …It’s no fun stalling in the intersection.. and then fumbling around looking for neutral or stepping on a break..
