I'd like to replace my cushioned floorboard rubbers with a set that lays flat on the metal. The instructions that came with the rigid rubbers say to use contact cement or automotive double sided tape. I have no problem with either. I do not, however, want to destroy my factory rubbers. All the Interweb hits I get talk about replacing the entire floorboard, but at $90 versus $17 I'd rather not do that. Is it possible to get the rubbers off without ruining them?
