CSC had drive shaft problems. Not sure the years . I'd give them a call
Welcome.....
Yes, there is a problem with the older drivelines. A fix that sometimes works was to weld two sections of the driveline. That was a band aide at best. CSC has a permeant solution that replaces the older drivelines with a new kit. It is a bit pricy because the body has to be removed. Plan on about 3K. Look underneath the trike. If there is, what looks like a transfer case at the rear end with the driveline going into it, then it needs to be updated. That transfer case looking gear box is completely removed with the upgrade. Otherwise, a great trike. Good luck..... Jim
An after thought...... Welding the driveline may work for a while and maybe even a long time. But when I had mine updated with the new CSC kit I gained 4 MPG. That gear box is heavy and creates a lot of drag on the propulsion system.....

We had our 2010 Goldwing CSC upgraded a few years ago with the new driveshaft.
A bit spendy for sure but eliminated a ton of weight and got rid of a slight vibration also.
Too bad you aren't closer as we will be selling our 2010, as we are getting our 2018 Goldwing DCT triked with an Encore CSC kit. Only 15,000 miles on the 2010.
