I'm running 2 oz in the front on my 19 Tri Glide and 3 oz in the rear. I've used the bead balancing system when I had my bike shop balancing many many tires, never had a problem.

The problem with the beads is if moisture is introduced into the tire from adding air they tend to clump and no longer do their job of balancing the wheel. This is the reason i use Ride-On and you get the added benefit of puncture protection.

I have an excellent moisture filter on my compressor. All I know is I run Dyna beads for many many years and never had a problem. Put them in many customer bikes and never heard a problem from them. That's all I can tell you

Manufacturer's website says 2 oz in the front and three in the rear on trikes with tires of that size.

I've heard such good reports on balancing beads I tried them when I replaced my front tire a few months back . . . but with poor results. Had a slight but noticeable vibration right about my preferred cruising range speed. Not sure exactly what might have caused this. I know they caution about getting any tire rim lubricant inside the tire which could get the beads damp and cause them to clump up. I suspect this might have been the problem but rather than fight it I just had them removed and the tire balanced the old fashioned way with weights.

Only time I’ve ever have bad results with either beads or rideon was when I forgot to take the weights off. Or when the installer complained about my rim being all gunned up with the ride on gel.
