REMEMBER when filling up your motorcycle fuel tank was cheap???

What the heck happened???

Yesterday, after a nice long relaxing ride, I stopped at a local gas station, to Refill up my tank before coming home, I couldn't believe the price.. Almost $24.00 to fill up my fuel tank (regular gas)....... :diespam: .It used to cost anywhere from $10 - $12.00 ....to re-fill.......... I guess my Social Security check will not go as far as it used too... If the price keeps going up, I'm going have to park my trike and start taking the :shortbus:

We used to buy drain oil from old Lens gas station., two cents a gallon. Put it in a old 54ford. The rear main leaked it out almost as quick as it went in. Then we discovered plastic dish pans. Wired it up up under the seal. That was it, fixed. Just empty the pan every couple days and pour it back in the motor.:clapping:

I am about to begin investigating the possibility of getting my electric golf cart licensed for street use here in Arizona. It does have what's called a street legal kit..... Mirror, Turn Signals, Horn, Lights. Inside the gated community I live in, golf carts are the usual mode of transportation. But the grocery store is about a mile outside our gate. I think electric travel to the store is in my future..... Jim
