DK can supply the bearings along with retainer plates.
I went with the National Bearing (Federal Mogul) 208 FF. Was able to get them local. Ordered my plates DK as well.
Good choice, that is the same bearing number as a Timken

Steve, Jack, that’s what I’ll be doing as well in the next couple of days as I wait for the plates to get here. Now trying to find somebody with a big enough press is the next order of business. Thanks to all.

So when I popped open the seal for the new bearings, I was truly shocked at the lack of grease. I got some Lucas high temp axle grease and packed them using the palm method, all went well. Found a small machine shop, got the DK plates and new bearings put on, and the the trike is back on the road. The stock plates are flat, but had some bearing marks on them, maybe flexing on the curves, but did have some signs of holding water. So the o-ring should take care of that. Didn’t get out except for a neighborhood test, as the skies were going to bring some much needed rain. Thanks to all.
