Well I found my shake. My right rear rotor is obviously warped, you can see the warp. I’m gonna see if my tire shop will turn it for me.

Good luck with that, I have machined a lot of rotors and flywheels
The down side is trying to match the run out you have with the lathe is the fly in the ointment
Solid rotors do not machine very good to begin with, let alone not knowing the run out on the hub, that said make sure you know the minimum thickness before machining
One last thing, did you match mark the rotor to the hub before you removed the rotor?
This can contribute to even more run out when you put it back on the hub if you did not match mark or ( index ) it

I did not. Index them,I guess I will just wing it. I have a feeling I will be buying a new rotor. The other one looks even.
They only have 5000 miles on them, I’m gonna take a chance.

EBC are very good pads, I have used them for years, Harley brakes are poor at best IMO
If u have access to a dial indicator you could put the rotor back on with 2 lug nuts opposite
from each other, do a sweep and record your reading, if .003 you should be OK, if not you can index the rotor 180 degrees and try again, 50 50 chance of better run out, we used to always do a run out and re index before machining, sometimes it was a big win for the customer
It sucks these rotors are sooooo expensive

No shit. Of course it would be so Un Harley to use a rotor manufactured for something else already. $136 for aftermarket is freaking crazy. I have a magnetic base and a dial indicator so I will do that Jack. One thing I didn’t do when initially installed these was to make sure that the base was clean. I will check it this time. Like I said I have a feeling I will be ordering a new rotor this morning. Going on a mountain trip at the end of the month so I want to make sure I have brakes. Not gonna risk my safety for a couple hundred bucks.

I had a set of rotors turned on my buddies 09, I was standing with the guy when he turned them. They came out flat and parallel but the finish was a little rough, when he was turning them it reminded me of machining stainless steel, just kind of gummy didnt give a good finish.
$10 a rotor, both turned a we shall see. That’s all I can say.

I seem to remember a post from years ago that had a drawing/print of (I think) of a Mustang 2?? brake rotors that were the same bolt pattern and offset as the triglide and the drawing showed how much had to be machined off each side and the outside diameter of the rotor.

I believe I saw this as well last year. It was from a early Mustang or maverick
