Bama/Buffett Ride, 22 April

[Juju]

Today I went for a great ride with a bunch of two-wheel buddies. We first rode to the currently-being-renovated Floribama Lounge, so-named because it sits on the beach at the FL/AL state line. Great spot for "rehydrating," enjoying the beach, and listening to some music.

After that we headed to Gulf Shores, AL and north to Lulu's, a restaurant/bar/fun spot run by Jimmy Buffett's "crazy sista," Lulu. Lunch, libations, and more music and fun!

After that, we had a long, wonderful ride home to Florida in the cool of the evening. Perfect day!

Look at that day!!!!! The sun, the beach, the trikes/bikes!!!!! Mike and I had a blast at Lulu's place <img src="images/smilies/grin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="big grin" class="inlineimg" />. Wish we could have joined you yesterday.

Me, too, Nana. It was one of those just-right days when all our best riding buddies were available, everyone felt good, and everything came together with great weather, too. The kind of day when you just want to ride and ride and ride.... (made me even MORE eager for the Rally!)

Sad to say, no Thunder Beach for us this year--family duties call. But I will be in PCB the following weekend for a little girlfriend time. When the men are away............
