Champion GL1800 IRS Trike Shock Question

I have a 2012 Gl1800 and one of the rear shocks is starting to leak a little and I would like to know if anyone has replaced one of these yet with something other than one from Champion.

Champion started with Blue springs. Then they did yellow like yours and a few years ago they switched to the ICON that have Red springs. They all fit the IRS. Check My post you (JimsGL1800) replied to about adjustments a couple weeks ago 8/28. there's a pic of them. That's what's available now from Champion. Let me know what you think.

2 questions, I bought this little girl last year and love it. Question since you guys are talking suspension...This is a Champion conversion with IRS. Honestly coming off a two wheeler I find the ride very "rigid". Is that typical or should the ride be smooth? What lube am I buying to lube the drive shaft U-joints?
