I Want To Move My Horn Button

I don't often use my horn. Mostly to wake somebody up at an intersection that didn't see the light change green. If there's a sudden need to avoid a catastrophe finding the horn button usually results in my hitting the turn signal, but worse it forces my hand into a very limp hold on the left grip. Image below. So I usually just power my way out of the situation and go about my business.



What I want to do is locate another button for the horn in the position shown below. A much easier area to hit and more importantly I can maintain a firmer hold on the grip.



I've been thinking about this since I got my Freewheeler in '21, but I want something that looks like it belongs there. I know HD sells accessories that utilize that switch housing spot and if I could find it I might be able to use the button and wire for this project. Basically I'm looking for any ideas that would lead me in right direction. A long shot, but you got to start somewhere.

Maybe if you can get Illuminated buttons so to be able to see them better ? I don’t try to To touch any buttons at night can’t see them..😱..

Going back to the horn they are just Aftathoughts most people use the horn out of frustration after the danger is over…..🤔..

Have you considered buying a set of HD switch extenders? They essentially replace your current switch with one that has a 1/2 tab coming off of it to place the switch closer to your grip so it's "right there" when you want it without being in the way.

Oh, they're turn signal extensions. Didn't catch that from the picture. I'd like a horn button extension. The turn signal buttons are fine for me. Oh, well. Thanks.
