Kool Trikes IRS

Anybody installed the Kool Trikes IRS kit? If so, how is the ride? This is a lot of money at $6895.00 installed and I sure don't want to spend that much without hearing some feed back. I have not ridden an IRS and would want to ride one before spending that much. Maybe Papa Zook can give some input about irs vs changing out shocks only on tri glide.

I know this ain’t gonna happen but maybe Kool trikes can let you talk to somebody who had that independent suspension put on “Their Tri-Glide” ; Not a Honda not a road Smith’ CSC Etc. but an actual Harley Triglide then you’ll know for sure….

I test rode one for about 12 miles I didnt notice a big improvement

but there was a difference

12 miles isnt much of a ride so take that with a grain of salt !

12 miles in Jersey would've been a good workout. Heck, I'd of known if there was an improvement before I went 4 blocks around here.

I recently helped a friend convert his Road King with a Kool trike kit.

He loves it and last month took it on a 1000 mile trip around Michigan's UP. It handled great on H58 (our best twisty) and took the bumps better than when it was a 2 wheeler. His wife thinks it is very comfortable. Much better then the TGs they tried out.

I would think the change to IRS would really improve the handling and ride of your tri glide.
