On Thursday evening I was a neighbor's home having cocktails on their patio right at sundown. To the west suddenly appeared a rocket in the sky! It was the Space-X launching 53 Starlink satellites. We had an amazing view for over 5 minutes. At the time we were not aware of what we were watching. The rocket appeared to parallel the horizon at about the altitude we are used to seeing jets fly. Now we know it was much higher but appeared low due to the curvature of the earth. It was headed in a southerly direction, and it looked like there were "chase planes" behind it. Of course, what we were seeing was satellites being deployed in the setting sunlight. Even though we were several hundred miles away, we could hear the low rumble of the rocket. The visibility timing for us couldn't have been better. The sun had set below the horizon but was still shining brightly on the rocket and the satellites. It was an unforgettable sight..... Jim
